How we contribute to a healthier planet

Quality Alarms

We only use quality Brooks smoke detectors. We don't use cheaper alternatives which can have a high fail rate. This reduces the amount of faulty alarms which are thrown away and end up in land fill.

Quality Batteries

Brooks alarms are equipped with a lithium long life battery which powers the alarm over it's lifespan. This dramatically degreases the amount of 9 volt batteries ending up in landfill. If we need to use batteries, we only install quality Energizer batteries.

Alarm Disposal

We do not throw expired alarms in domestic waste. Many of these old alarms contain radioactive material and other hazardous substances which have the potential to damage our environment.

Battery Disposal

Batteries consist of many harmful materials and should not be disposed of in domestic waste. We appropriately dispose of batteries at local waste management facilities provided by council.
